1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using KidWize, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

KidWize provides curated, screen-free developmental activity suggestions for parents to do with their children. The app is a guide — all activities are performed offline between parent and child; KidWize itself is not a childcare, educational, or medical service.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be 18 years or older to create a KidWize account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Child profiles are created and managed by the parent within their own account; children do not have independent accounts. Before adding a child's profile, you'll be asked to confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and to consent to the processing of their information, as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

KidWize offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (monthly, annual, and lifetime), purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Current pricing for your region is always shown in the app before purchase.

• Recurring subscriptions automatically renew at the price shown at purchase unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in your device's app store account settings — we cannot process cancellations or refunds directly, as all billing is handled by Apple/Google
• Unused portions of a free trial or promotional offer, where one is provided, are forfeited if you purchase a paid subscription
• Lifetime purchases are one-time and non-recurring

5. Content Disclaimer

Activities are designed for general developmental support and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, or educational advice. Always supervise children during activities and use your own judgment regarding safety and appropriateness for your child.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse KidWize — including attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer the app, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, including activity descriptions, illustrations, and app design, is owned by KidWize and protected by copyright. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes within the app only.

8. Third-Party Services

KidWize relies on third-party providers — including Supabase, RevenueCat, and the Apple App Store / Google Play — to operate. Your use of those platforms is also subject to their own terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using KidWize and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is not immediate: your account enters a 7-day grace period during which it's hidden but not yet removed, and logging back in during that window cancels the deletion. After 7 days, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted. We may suspend or terminate access to the service for violations of these terms or for extended inactivity, with notice where reasonably practicable.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

KidWize is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KidWize is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any injuries that may occur while performing activities suggested in the app.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; continued use of KidWize after a change means you accept the revised terms.
